Definite improvement in sound quality!
Per your request, attached are a couple of photos of my system. My system includes the following:
Klipsch Cornwall IV speakers
Bowers & Wilkins ASW650 subwoofer
Prima Luna EVO 300 preamp with new od stock RCA Cleartop preamp tubes
Prima Luna EVO 300 power amp with KT150 power tubes and Mullard reissue input tubes
MOFI Ultradeck turntable with MOFI MasterTracker cartridge
Denafrips Venus II 12th edition DAC
Audiolab 6000 CDT cd transport
Furman PF-15i Elite power conditioner
Two LHY LPS25VA linear power supplies (5V supplies Bluesound Node 2i streamer. 24V powers Soundsmith MMP3 phono preamp)
Bluesound Node 2i streamer
Soundsmith MMP3 phono preamp
Schiit Audio Lokious 6 band equalizer
DSpeaker 8033-SII DSP for subwoofer
I did get a chance to listen to some vinyl LPs last night with the new power supply connected to my phono preamp. I noticed a definite improvement in sound quality. Everything just sounded more solid. Bass notes were very well-defined and solid sounding. Mids and highs sounded just a bit more “lit from the inside”.
Overall the music was presented with a bit more energy and clarity. I expect it will improve a bit more as the unit “burns in”.
