The CDT2 and DAC2 do sound great together.

my system is the CDT2 to the DAC2 to the Hegel 590 to Harbeth Super HL5 + XD speakers. Attached is a picture.

The unit on the right below the DAC2 is not in use and the unit on the bottom left is a Shunyata Denali power conditioner. I will most likely be purchasing a streamer to go into the DAC2 in the future - most likely an Aurender unit.
